"...the exhibition provides an insight into the incredible diversity that the discipline [textiles] offers. Their impressive body of work illustrates an artistic 'journey' utilising and (re)presenting an array of skills influenced by both ancient and modern technologies. ... From large hangings that make a bold impact to smaller scale collages, from digital technology to embroidery, the experience is certainly a voyage of discovery for the viewer. However, although all the work is undeniably aesthetically pleasing, it is never purely decorative. ... Certainly, this exhibition proves true to its title 'Journeys' in a multitude of ways. The journeys that we embark upon as a viewer are as exciting as the pioneering journeys of these artists developing their craft."
