I enjoy exploring themes using threads, paper, fabric, other fibres and found objects.
Colour is very important in my work. Memory plays a significant role. I feel powerfully rooted to the earth but like escaping into fanciful dreams interpreted with my needles.
I use a variety of textile methods in my work: felting, dyeing with plants, collage, knitting, hand and machine embroidery ; using silk, linen and recycled fabrics to make both two dimensional and three dimensional pieces.
