My interest is drawing. I am primarily an illustrator with links to textile via teaching. Joining the MaP exhibiting group has sometimes made me deal actually with textile, applying drawing to fabric. Sometimes I speculate about fabric through drawing, painting, collaging and "cut outs". I love the photographic possibilities created when moving between two dimensions and three dimensions.
This image was made to complete a story about my memory of being a wartime child and a story my mother told me which made me call into question my memories of this time.
