My interest is drawing. I am primarily an illustrator with links to textile via teaching. Joining the MaP exhibiting group has sometimes made me deal actually with textile, applying drawing to fabric. Sometimes I speculate about fabric through drawing, painting, collaging and "cut outs". I love the photographic possibilities created when moving between two dimensions and three dimensions.
One of four images, inspired by a Margaret Attwood short story, made to complement the 'group made' Quilt for Ria, our MaP tribute to a friend and colleague who died in 2004.
